Overview
J. Hogan Refrigeration and Mechanical, an experienced and forward-thinking HVAC/R and mechanical contractor is in search of positively motivated craftspeople to join our team.
We currently have openings for HVAC Installer.
This position is full-time (8 hours/day, 5 days/week), year-round and requires being able to work
independently and with others to successfully complete HVAC system installations. Some overtime is to
be expected.
Although not necessary, prior experience with heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment is
preferred (priority given to those with commercial and industrial experience).
Requirements:
– Being able to read and follow schematic drawings and manufacturers installation instructions
– A clean driver’s license
– Ability to work outdoors and in inclement weather
– Lift moderately heavy objects
– Work at heights (from ladders and manlifts)
– Be able to communicate with management and customers in a professional and technical
manner
– Other tasks as required
The HVAC Installer will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and accurate installation of various heating,
cooling and refrigeration systems. Examples of work to be completed include:
– Boiler and heat piping installations
– Air handler and ductwork installation
– Refrigeration piping
– Wiring of equipment controls
– Mechanical insulation as needed
We are looking for candidates with an interest in learning mechanical systems and developing their
skill sets. Candidates with limited prior experience will be considered if they present a willingness to
work as a member of a team and be positive contributors to our company.
