Today we sat down with Jessica Kline the General Manager of PM Leary LLC to talk about the state of jobs in the North Country and what makes a good employee.
AJ: Tell us about yourself?
KJ: I am currently the General Manager at PM Leary LLC. I started here in 2019 after 21 years in the construction sales industry. I have a Bachelors in Accounting from SUNY Plattsburgh and a MBA from University of Phoenix. I have 4 wonderful adult children, a black lab named Cooper and two cats, Simba and Gracie.
AJ: What is your current hiring status at PM Leary LLC?
JK: We have some immediate openings that we would like to fill soon. We are always willing to invest in the right person, so if you’re considering a change don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
AJ: What makes a “right fit” employee for PM Leary LLC?
JK: Good attitude, someone that is not afraid to learn new things, someone that is motivated, they want to do a good job and make the customer happy.
AJ: What is the work environment like, and more importantly, what is it like working for Pat Leary?
JK: It’s fast paced over here! Pat is great to work with, he has a heart of gold. It’s a family environment here, some of our employees have been here almost since the beginning.
AJ: what is something you would like a prospective employee to know about working at PM Leary LLC?
JK: We hire a wide range of skills and experience levels. We have some entry level positions, skilled trade jobs, and supervisory level positions. Not all are dirty jobs, we have some professional jobs that are great for someone that has been in the construction industry as a foreman or project manager.
