Position Overview
Taylor Rental is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Sign Designer / Vehicle Wrap & Vinyl Graphics
Specialist to join our team.

This position will have a strong emphasis on vehicle wrap design and installation, vehicle lettering, and custom signage. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, understands how artwork translates into
real-world production, and enjoys working with customers to turn their ideas into professional finished
products.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and prepare artwork for full and partial vehicle wraps
• Create vehicle lettering, logos, decals, striping, and custom vinyl graphics
• Design signs, banners, wall graphics, window graphics, and other promotional products
• Work directly with customers to understand their branding, design ideas, and project requirements
• Create professional layouts using graphic design software
• Prepare production-ready files for printing, cutting, and installation
• Select appropriate colors, fonts, images, layouts, and materials
• Work with vinyl, glass, metal, wood, and other sign-making materials
• Make revisions based on customer feedback and production requirements
• Review artwork carefully for spelling, measurements, colors, and design accuracy before production
• Ensure designs are practical for manufacturing, printing, cutting, and installation
• Install vinyl wraps, signage, and other graphics with precision and attention to detail, ensuring a professional, high-quality finished product.
• Maintain consistency with customer branding and visual identity
• Stay current with sign industry, vinyl, vehicle graphics, and design trends
• Maintain organized project files and meet production deadlines

Vehicle Wrap & Vinyl Graphics Experience

Vehicle wrap and vinyl graphics experience is highly desirable.

Experience with the following is a major plus:
• Full and partial vehicle wraps
• Commercial vehicle lettering
• Vinyl decal production
• Window graphics
• Large-format printed graphics
• Cut vinyl
• Plotters and vinyl cutters
• Vehicle templates and scaled layouts
• Preparing files for large-format printing
• Understanding vinyl installation requirements
• Working with installers to ensure artwork is production-ready

Qualifications
• Previous experience in sign design, graphic design, vehicle wraps, or vinyl graphics
• Proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, and branding
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong artistic and creative ability
• Ability to visualize how a design will look on a vehicle or physical sign
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Understanding of sign production materials and processes
• Ability to work independently while also working as part of a production team

A degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred, but hands-on industry experience is highly
valued.
