Who is a good candidate for this job? People with Point of sales experience, Inventory/receiving and/or customer service experience. Any candidates that are familiar with lawn & garden/construction products i.e. riders, chainsaws, tractors and heavy equipment.

Requirements

• Greet all customers with a smile and positive attitude
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills
• Think and work independently, the ability to multitask is a must
• Ability to engage and relate with customers to fulfill their requests, listen and understand concerns and relay detailed information to a technician
• Ability to pick parts from a diagram and order accordingly also work with vendors to lookup and order parts for our machinery and for walk up customers
• Pulling orders to have ready for our shop or customers
• listening to customer’s description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
• Maintain positive attitude and good communication line with customers and other teammates
• Assist customers with orders, refunds and exchanges
• Comfortable using computers to complete daily work tasks, knowledge of sale software is helpful
• Present customers with estimates while making sure they understand the scope of work that is being done in conjunction with the cost to complete.
• Follow up with customers and work orders maintaining organized flow of paperwork
• Dispatching for service machines in coordination with other departments
• Work order processing, to include logging time and parts, understanding and embracing internal processes, submission of warranty claims
• Keep a clean and organized workspace
• Some knowledge of equipment and components in the industry to include but not limited to excavators, haul trucks, backhoes, skid steers, lifts, forklifts, garden tractors, zero turns, snow blowers, tillers, generators, compressors, chainsaws, blowers, trimmers, hand held tools and professional tools
• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Example for this position: climbing laters to pull products from shelving.

• Full time position- 40 hours per week, weekend rotation required
