Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Customer Service & Communication
    Serve as the main point of contact for customers—scheduling service appointments, understanding equipment issues, and providing regular updates on repair status and completion timelines.

  • Work Order Management
    Open, track, and close repair orders accurately. Document all services requested and performed, along with technician notes and parts used, to ensure complete and transparent service records.

  • Estimating & Service Advising
    Create accurate repair estimates and advise customers on necessary services based on inspections and manufacturer guidelines. Help customers make informed maintenance and repair decisions.

  • Parts Coordination
    Work closely with the parts department to ensure timely ordering and availability of needed components for repairs, helping minimize equipment downtime.

  • Daily Technician Scheduling
    Coordinate and schedule daily jobs for service technicians, balancing priorities and workload to ensure timely and efficient service operations.

  • Trucking & Logistics Management
    Coordinate trucking logistics for transporting equipment to and from customer sites for repair, as well as for delivering newly sold equipment to buyers.

  • Record Keeping & Reporting
    Maintain detailed records of service histories, work orders, parts usage, and customer communications. Assist in generating reports on service performance and technician productivity.

Requirements:

  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills
  • Think and work independently, the ability to multitask is a must
  • Courteous assistance for all customers, walk-in and phone calls
  • Knowledge of and ability to use computers to complete daily work tasks
  • Ability to engage and relate with customers to fulfill their requests
  • Knowledge of mechanical parts and service is a plus, willing to train the right candidate
  • Background in customer service is helpful, but not required

  • Full time position – 40 hours per week, weekend rotation required
