About Butcher Block Restaurant

Since 1975, the Butcher Block restaurant has provided casual fine dining in a fun, rustic Adirondack atmosphere. We are an independently owned and operated steakhouse and seafood restaurant in Plattsburgh NY, known for our generous portions, aged hand-cut steaks and extensive soup, salad and bread bar that is included with all entrees! Come by for our daily Happy Hour 3-6pm, lunch and dinner specials and outdoor patio seating. We offer gluten-free menu items and our Tavern Menu is available in the bar for dining between lunch and dinner hours.
Looking for a banquet hall, conference room or other special event venue? Check out The Adirondack Room. Since opening in 2012, this new ballroom can host up to 200 people and is perfect for weddings and wedding receptions, corporate and private parties, conferences, award ceremonies and more. Our Event Planning Team offers thoughtfully prepared packages with the finest ingredients and decor, or you can design a custom dining and event experience.
